Irish Revenue Commissioners extended FATCA and CRS filing deadline to 14 July 2023

Irish Revenue Commissioners extended FATCA and CRS filing deadline to 14 July 2023

The Irish Revenue Commissioners on 29 June 2023 released e-Brief No. 150/23 extending the FATCA and common reporting standard (CRS) filing deadline for the 2022 reporting period from 30 June 2023 to 14 July 2023 due to filing issues with Revenue Online Service (ROS).

Taxpayers can continue to file their FATCA and CRS returns via ROS and will receive an on screen acceptance message. However, taxpayers may experience a delay in receiving confirmations in their revenue record inbox. If this is the case, customers are asked to not re-file affected FATCA or CRS returns unless they have not received the relevant confirmations by 7 July 2023.
