FATCA and CRS reporting deadline remains 31 May 2024

The Inland Revenue Department (IRD) of Anguilla on 14 March 2024 announced that the reporting deadlines for FATCA and common reporting standard (CRS) returns for the 2023 reportable year will remain 31 May 2024.

Reporting financial institutions must provide that sufficient time is afforded to complete the reporting requirements before the deadline.

The notice also reminds financial institutions that, beginning in 2017, returns for the 2016 reportable year and beyond under United Kingdom Crown Dependencies and Overseas Territories International Tax Compliance Regulations (UK CDOT) follow CRS obligations.
