Deployment of payment module on BVIFars portal postponed

The tax authority of the British Virgin Islands (BVI) on 5 March 2024 announced that due to unforeseen circumstances, the deployment of the payment module on the BVIFars portal, initially scheduled for January 2024, has been postponed.

Financial institutions are instructed to maintain their regular filing obligations and disregard any payment notifications until further notice. The payment option is currently inactive. A user guide will be provided upon the activation of the payment component.
